YANA Online Education Services
Specialist Mentoring
Specialist Mentors work with learners with a range of Mental Health conditions and Special Educational Needs and can help explore the underlying causes that prevent effective study, such as perfectionism, fear of failure and anxiety.

Specialist Mentors also provide support with timetabling, goal-setting, workload prioritisation, and managing expectations around study. We work with the learner on short and long term targets, providing them with the tools and techniques to grow a healthy mindset to achieve personal and academic goals.
The Specialist Mentor that works for YANA meets the qualifications set by the Department of Education.

* British Psychological Society (BPS) Graduate Degree AND a PG qualification in Psychology.

Study Skills Support & Academic Tutoring
Our Study Skills and Academic Tutoring sessions are designed to help learners develop the skills they need to succeed academically. Not only do we provide GCSE/A level Maths tutoring, we also cover topics such as time management, note-taking and essay structure, as well as other skills you may require to complete your course.
Using online platforms such as Zoom and Skype, sessions run for approx. 60 minutes to ensure learners have plenty of question time. If there is a subject that cannot be covered, YANA will do our best to find the answer!

Study Skills and Academic Tutoring sessions are run in a flexible, relaxed and non-judgmental way to ensure all learners are supported in the right way.

* We also offer Study Skills workshops that run at a minimum of three participants.
